Informative Women’s Health and Beauty Event

Kind Health Group and Trish McEvoy Cosmetics recently treated us to a fabulous spring event featuring home cooked traditional Greek delicacies as well as champagne and refreshments at Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church in Cardiff by the Sea.

In addition to being a fantastic night out with the ladies, a percentage of proceeds raised were donated to the Greek Dance & Choral school.

This event was designed to empower local women with offering advice on how to maintain and optimize their health, beauty and overall wellness.

Trish McEvoy Cosmetics had stations set up throughout the venue providing make up tutorials, and mini makeovers, while an eager audience attended the woman’s health Q&A panel with Dr. Georgine Nanos and her expert team of nurses and staff.

Kind Health Group was founded in 2017 by award winning, Georgine Nanos, MD, MPH. She has been recognized as one of San Diego’s Top Doctors for nine consecutive years by San Diego Magazine.

While addressing the crowd, Georgine said, “I love practicing medicine with every fiber of my being. The best part of being a doctor is sitting in the exam room with a patient and listening to their story. It could be anything from solving a complex medical problem to addressing a challenging illness or just catching up during a routine physical.”

Georgine went on to explain that during 15 plus years of health care experience, she has found that our current healthcare system only allows for patients to meet with their providers for a short period of time and can leave both the patient and physician frustrated with unanswered questions.

This is precisely why she formed Kind Health Group, and Kind Connected Care. “In the shortest of terms, our practice is a boutique medical, wellness and aesthetic practice which offers concierge family medicine and cosmetic services.” Georgine Said. “But to our patients, we are so much more!”
