Spring has finally sprung in North County. What does this mean for us at Kind Health Group?
Well, besides a chance to witness the super bloom all around we have much new blooming here at Kind Health Group. First, we are honored to introduce our newest addition to the Kind Health Group Team. April DeMaggio,PA-C. April graduated from Stanford School of Medicine Physician Assistant program in 2002 and began practicing primary care in a Family Practice setting. April added aesthetics to her practice twelve years ago and has since become a highly skilled injector and aesthetic laser provider.
TIME TO GET A HEALTH COACH
The month of April is National Stress Awareness month, this campaign originated in 1992 to increase public awareness about both the causes and cures for our modern stress epidemic. Chronic stress can lead to insomnia, high blood pressure, and heart disease. Not everyone is equipped to manage high levels of stress, which is why working with a health coach can be helpful. A health coach works with the client to help manage some of the most common life stressors; health, work, money, family and relationships. Our health coach Annie will help guide you to discover new outlets to overcome your daily stressors and reach your health goals.

Peas, swiss chard, and beets are growing now in North County. Spring is a fruitful time of year for delicious new produce and developing new eating habits. We are excited to announce our Plant Forward Teaching Kitchen series with Dr. Nanos, Health Coach Annie and a professional chef. We are hosting a hands-on cooking class at Lazy Acres Market in Encinitas on Thursday, May 2nd from 6-8pm. FITNESS FRIDAYS PROGRAM
Spring welcomes summer and we all know what summer means in North County: the beach, pools and sunshine. Our team at Kind Health Group is dedicated to your health and wellbeing.
