A Personal Touch

You can reach out to our team at any time and likewise we will reach out to you on a regular basis. We encourage the use of Fitbits, Apple Watches, and other wearable health monitors that we can sync with our system. By actively tracking measurable and customized health data points such as steps, sleep, water/veggie intake, stressors, blood pressure, or blood sugar, we can work together to keep you accountable.

Exercise, nutritional guidance, support, and motivation; we take a holistic approach to working one-on-one and understand the science behind true behavior modification.

Our coaches understand and promote the emotional, physical, behavioral, nutritional, and lifestyle factors that are needed to enhance overall health and well-being.

S.M.A.R.T. Goals

S.M.A.R.T. goals are: Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, and Time-Bound. Patients who have been actively participating in our health coaching program during the last year have ALL experienced significant measurable improvements in their health without the use of medications.

What is a health coach?
A health coach is an expert in the process of health behavior modification. Health coaches work in partnership with their clients to help them enhance personal accountability, set goals and take action to achieve and sustain health-supporting behaviors.

Do health coaches collaborate with healthcare physicians?
Yes. While a health coach should never replace a doctor or other practitioner, working with one can often serve as a bridge between medical recommendations and a patient taking action to create and maintain healthy behaviors.

How does the program work?
During our first meeting clients map health history from birth to present day with the health coach by answering directed questions. Then clients set individual health goals, which are Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, and Timely. Our next meeting the coach will connect clients to our system in order to monitor wearable devices, communicate daily, track activity, and set custom health trackers. Clients will also meet once a month in office, or for a beach walk, grocery store tour, yoga class or stand up board paddling. Our program is customizable.

What types of clients do you typically work with?
In general, my clients are individuals who are motivated to improve their health. Typical goals include weight loss, healthier eating, increased exercise, or stress reduction. However, each client is unique, and the program is customizable to meet individual goals and monitor health trackers.

What is my background?
I am a Functional Medicine Certified Health Coach and received my professional training from the Institute for Functional Medicine. I also hold a Master’s degree in Education, and Bachelor of Science.
