About PDO Threads
PDO thread lifts are a minimally invasive alternative for patients who are not ready to undergo surgical procedures. Although the effects from a thread lift are temporary, a gradual improvement in the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles can be seen over time as the procedure stimulates the collagen production in your skin.

What Are PDO Threads?
PDO sutures are made of an absorbable polymer that is flexible and durable for minimally invasive thread lifts. PDO thread lifts come in a variety of textures. We offer 2 different PDO sutures: smooth and barbed threads. Smooth threads are singular, smooth sutures that are anchored to the face that provide a small lift to the face. Barbed threads have a barbed texture that provides better lift and increased collagen production. For patients who only desire skin tightening and rejuvenation, smooth threads may be sufficient. Smooth threads are also used for body treatments and specific areas on the face. Patients who desire more lifting will benefit from textured barbed threads. Barbed threads are mostly used on the neck and face.
Ideal Candidates for PDO Threads
The ideal candidates for threads are women and men who want to smooth and lift areas of their face and body and minimize any fine lines, scarring, or skin texture.
Let's Get Tightening
Upon arriving for your treatment, your skin will be marked for insertion and direction of the inserted threads. Once marked, the insertion points will be thoroughly sanitized. Multiple threads can be inserted through the same point in the skin. When the thread has reached its predetermined end point, the thread will be released and the cannula removed. This process will be repeated until the desired lift has been achieved. Any extra thread will be trimmed. The threads will be massaged to ensure the tissue is smooth and no dimpling is present. Recovery is minimal after a PDO thread lift procedure. Bruising is possible. Results can be noticeable right away, maximum results are usually visible up to 3 months after. Most patients are able to resume normal activity within about a week. Depending on your desired goal, multiple sessions may be required.
