Some of the typical symptoms of a nail disorder are inflammation under and around your nails, a change in the color of your nails, brittle or thin nails that split easily, and nails that are grooved or bumpy. Sometimes, a nail disease can lead to pain, making it difficult to type or hold objects.

Treatment Options

During your appointment, a team member will perform a comprehensive examination to diagnose the nail disorder and identify if there's an underlying condition. If you have a bacterial nail disease, you may be prescribed an antibiotic or antifungal medicine. Anti-inflammatory creams are also effective treatments for nail conditions.
